FFD: Building Resilience, Users’ Manual - Invitation to tender

You are invited to submit an offer to the assignment as described in the draft ToR latest by 2nd March 2020 at 12:00 CET to the email addresses: tiina.huvio@ffd.fi and Stefaan.bonte@agricord.org.
1. Contents of the offer
Please specify Users’ Manual – Building Resilience in the email subject line. Interested candidates should send their offer before the 2nd March 2020, to the same email address with the same specification.
The offer should include the following:
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae of the international consultant, including all previous contracts during the last 5 years (max 4 pages)
- Apart from the full CV, a table giving at least one recent (of the last 3 years) example of experience for all the skills and competences required (see under chapter 5);
- Proposed approach for the development of the Users’ Manual and the testing in Honduras (max 3 pages);
- Expected daily fee rate (exclusive of expenses);
- Indication of guaranteed availability between March 3rd 2020 and end of April 2020 for 13 days
Questions regarding the Terms of Reference, which is still subject to minor changes, can be sent to AgriCord/FFD, to the email addresses: stefaan.bonte@agricord.org and tiina.huvio@ffd.fi, who will also evaluate the offers.
2. Selection of the proposals
- The selection of the candidate will be done by AgriCord secretariat consultation with the assigned AgriCord working group and will be based on the following criteria:
- Relevant experience and expertise, especially from assignments with AgriCord or its members (50%)
- Quality of proposal for the assignment (20%)
- Availability on short term (10%)
- Financial proposal (20%)
3. Terms of Payment
- 20% of the contract price will be paid by the contractor upon signing of the contract
- Another 30% will be paid upon the preparatory documents for the Climate Framework Program design
- The final 50% will be paid upon submission of the main deliverables: Climate Framework Program (including visualisation)
The consultant will entitle the consultant to a daily subsistence allowance while on mission out of his or her home-base, to be agreed upon (no insurance while on mission will be provided by AgriCord) and international flights (in Economy Class). All costs will be based on timesheet, valid invoices and proofs of payment.
